Botched.

Damn. If I was a little tight yesterday, I was damn sore today. Anyone know why the hurt from a hard workout doesn't kick in until the second day? I've never understood it.

It was raining decently hard, and though I like running in the rain, running in the dark and rain is less pleasant. So I hopped on the mill and did a 3mi warmup (22min). Then was going to do mile repeats at around [what I think my] 5k pace [should be], but after the first one (6:2x) I could tell my legs were shot. So I changed plans and did the AM / Spring Garden 3mi loop. Around 7.75mi in 54 non-contiguous minutes.
